You Are a Child of God / Writing updates

That's right, you, are a a child of the Creator of the world, If you have accepted Christ into your life then, you, are a child of God. If you grew up in a christian home then you have probably heard it over a million times but take a moment to ponder the beauty and awesomeness of that. When you were a mess God loved you and cared for you. When you turned your back towards Him, He cherished you in the palm of his hand.
If you have given your life to Christ then you are a new creation. You don't have to coward and hide any more. He makes you brave, He has removed your sins and forgiven you, You are given a new life, one with a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)
Now, this doesn't mean that you get to do whatever you want. When we become a child of God, He calls us to serve Him and obey Him.
How do we do this?
We do this by reading his Word and learning what his commands are for us. By praying to Him and listening to what he lays on our hearts. Being quiet and still so that we can hear him.
When we give our lives to Christ, we are saying "Lord, you are my God and I chose to serve and obey you with everything I have. I chose to worship you and make you the reason I am living."
Why am I so enthusiastic about this?
Because I know that without God, I am nothing. The Lord has given me everything I need and I have done nothing to deserve that.
Now I know that this is a rather short post so I'm going to make up for that by combining it with a writing update.

Are you ready for this???

I FINISHED THE KING'S REIGN!!!!!!

You heard me, I finished the first draft of the book I have been working on since September of 2016!!! I finally wrote the words "The End"
I can hardly believe it! There is still a lot I need to fix. Unneeded seans, more character development, sewing up the plot holes (most of which I am not aware of but I know they are there), and a whole lot of other things, but I FINISHED!!!
Now I can move on to solidifying the outline to my NaNo project which still doesn't have a name.
TKR now has 58,482 words and 248 pages (Each page is printer size)
So on December 1st, I am going to put aside my NaNo project and attempt to edit my newly finished book!

Until next time,
Naomi.
